Paracetamol is a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic agent. Paracetamol does not possess any anti-inflammatory action. Paracetamol appears to produce analgesia by elevation of the pain threshold.

Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients/components of the product. Severe and active hepatic impairment.
Do not take if allergic to paracetamol. Patients should contact their healthcare provider if symptoms persist (pain >10 days, fever >3 days). Paracetamol provides symptomatic relief only; additional therapy to treat the cause should be instituted when necessary.
The anticoagulant effect of warfarin and other coumarins may be enhanced by prolonged regular daily use of paracetamol with increased risk of bleeding; occasional doses have no significant effect.
Adverse effects of paracetamol are rare and usually mild, although hematological reactions have been reported. Skin rashes and other hypersensitivity reactions occur occasionally.
Store protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

Contraindicated in patients with a previous history of hypersensitivity to paracetamol or excipients.
Paracetamol overdose may cause liver failure which may require liver transplant or lead to death. Keep out of sight and reach of children. It contains methyl- and propyl-hydroxybenzoates which may cause allergic reactions.
Children: Use the lowest dose necessary for the shortest duration. For children 1-3 months, repeat dosage every 4 hours if necessary, but not more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Maximum daily dose: 60 mg/kg, divided into 10-15 mg/kg doses throughout 24 hours.

Very rare: Thrombocytopenia, skin rashes, angioedema, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, bronchospasm, hepatic dysfunction.
