Indian Association of Occupational Health is the leading non-governmental professional association of occupational health and allied professionals in India. It is active in the development and promotion of occupational health with 3000 members across 24 branches. It is organizing national conferences on Occupational Health every year. The 67th annual, national conference on Occupational Health, OCCUCON 2017, is being organized at New Delhi from 9th to 11th February 2017 and PDC on 8th February 2017. India contributes 17% of global population and is the third economy in the world (GDP by PPP) and given the fact that India’s contribution is set to further increase, the current situation and future of occupational health in India is very relevant to the future of occupational health in the world.
