Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday said the State Government is trying to develop into "Healthy Telangana" with unique schemes.
Along with Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy, Rao launched "Telangana Diagnostic Central Hub" at IPM Campus in Narayanaguda here.
Appreciating the Health Department for providing quality services, KTR requested Health Minister Laxma Reddy to review the progress of filling vacancies in the department.
"The government has introduced Basthi Hospitals in order to provide treatment to town-dwellers in their localities," Rao added.
The government is planning to establish 20 diagnostic centres in 20 districts as a part of the first phase, says media sources.
