Oxxy, the leading healthcare network is planning to launch, starting today, as free pick and drop service from patients home in Vizag. People in the coastal city can now avail this service to get a free eye check up at home or Oxxy’s centre. Oxxy is reported to have taken the initiative of a free eye checkup program in more than 200 cities.
An initiative under its Swastha Bharat platform, anyone can call 09999000102 and get the ride or test done for free, the company said in a statement. Valued at $2 billion, it has so far screened 12 million people under Swastha Bharat in last three months, as confirmed by a local newspaper
"Transparency in healthcare is the need of the hour and thus Oxxy is working dedicatedly towards its mission to provide e-Healthcare for all," said Oxxy founder Pankaj Gupta.
Co-founder Sheetal Kapoor said they were focusing on optimizing healthcare infrastructure throughout the country.
Earlier Oxxy with its alliance with Uber provided free health checkups to all its riders. It already screened more than 2.5 lakh passengers.
