1000+ doctors have 9 medical colleges in Bihar have gone on strike demanding a salary hike.

Doctors pointed out that their stipend have not increased since 2017.

"We will withdraw the strike if we are provided with a written assurance by the government," said the doctors

The state's health services have crippled due to the ongoing strike.

Resident Doctors Association has also lent its support to the strike.
