CID ACTOR DINESH PHADNIS DIES OF MULTIPLE ORGAN FAILURE
Actor Dinesh Phadnis, who gained popularity as Fredericks in the highly watched television series CID, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 57.
Dayanand Shetty, his co-actor on CID who portrayed Daya in the programme, "Dinesh breathed his last at 12.08 am," he stated. The 57-year-old star was undergoing care at Tunga Hospital in Mumbai.
Dinesh passed away from multiple organ failure, according to Shetty. He stated, "He was taken off the ventilator last night due to several complications." Mumbai will host the actor's funeral at 10.30 a.m. The whole cast of CID reportedly paid their final respects at Dinesh's residence.
We are aware that he had liver problems, which affected his other organs, according to actor Aditya Srivastava, who played Inspector Abhijeet on the show. For two or three days, he was really sick. He was not able to live.”
According to earlier reports, Dinesh was brought to the hospital after suffering a heart arrest on Sunday. Shetty later stated that liver disease, not cardiac arrest, was the cause.
After he played Fredericks in the enduring TV series CID, which debuted in 1998 and continued for twenty years on Sony TV, Dinesh gained widespread recognition. Along with appearing in renowned sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, he has had supporting parts in films such Sarfarosh and Super 30.
