NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 3: 24,314 Vacant Seats, Cut-off Reduced for Wider Participation

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced 24,314 vacant seats for Round 3 of NEET PG 2024 counselling. Eligible candidates can register on the official website, MCC.nic.in, by 12 PM on January 15, 2025. This round offers more aspirants a chance to secure postgraduate medical seats.

Round 3 of NEET PG 2024 counselling features 24,314 total seats, including 15,902 virtual vacancies, 8,313 clear vacancies, and 99 newly added seats.

The NEET PG 2024 cut-off has been reduced to 15 percentile for General/EWS candidates and 10 percentile for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates to ensure no medical college seats remain vacant.

New seats have been added in medical colleges across 14 states, including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

NEET PG Round 3 registration closes on January 15, 2025, at 12 PM, with preference selection open until January 16, 8 AM. Candidates must report to their allotted colleges between January 18 and 25, while institutes will verify joined candidates' data on January 27 and 28.
