SAIF ALI KHAN DISMISSES EXAGGERATED REPORTS OF FRACTURED KNEES AFTER UNDERGOING TRICEP SURGERY

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan disclosed that he had long ignored the problem and took action only after the pain became intolerable, following a day of tricep surgery for an old ailment.

Along with criticizing some media sites for disseminating false information and inflated reports, he made it clear that the issue was not related to his back or knee.

He mentioned that his tricep had been hurting on and off for a while, sometimes more so than other times, and acknowledged that he had not realized how bad the damage was until the surgery.

Remembering that it shattered again during some action scenes for Koratala Siva's Telugu film Devara, which starred NTR Jr. in the title role, Saif carried on with his work, figuring everything would be alright.

Pointing out that he got an MRI done when the bandwidth of the pain increased and doing anything strenuous caused him significant ache, Saif added.

But he also claimed that nobody, not even the medical personnel, realized how terrible the injury was until after the surgery.

The procedure was performed on the actor at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. In order to heal, he is taking a break for a month.
