TOBY KEITH DIES AFTER CANCER BATTLE: KNOW ALL ABOUT STOMACH CANCER
Renowned country music performer Toby Keith bravely battled stomach cancer before passing away on Monday, surrounded by his loved ones. Keith continued to work in the music business, perform live, and take part in humanitarian activities even after receiving his diagnosis in June 2022.
In 2022, he was honoured with the BMI Icon Award and in the first People's Choice Country Awards, he was given the Country Icon Award for his contributions to country music. With his last album, "Songwriter," released in November, Keith continued to be upbeat and committed to his art despite his medical condition. Ahead of his death in December, he gave his last concerts in Las Vegas.
WHAT IS STOMACH CANCER?
When stomach cells begin to proliferate uncontrollably, stomach cancer starts. Unlike other cancers that can affect the abdomen, such as pancreatic, liver, or colon cancer, stomach cancer is not the same. The course of stomach malignancies is typically gradual. Precancerous alterations in the stomach's inner lining may manifest before real cancer does.
WHAT CAUSES STOMACH CANCER?
Many variables, including age, sex, food, and usage of alcohol and tobacco products, raise the risk of developing cancer. It is possible to control some things, but not others.
It's frequently unclear how specific factors could influence how stomach cells develop into cancerous cells.
IS THERE A CURE FOR STOMACH CANCER?
Surgery, chemotherapy, targeted medication therapy, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy are the main treatments for stomach cancer. Using two or more types of treatment is the best method. The cancer's location and stage will all affect the treatment that is administered.
