ABOUT WORLD ARTHRITIS DAY
It is a global health awareness event organized annually on 12 October to create awareness about the rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, its impact on one's life and educating people the symptoms & preventive measures and guiding for the early diagnosis to cope up any further complications.
HISTORY OF WORLD ARTHRITIS DAY
World Arthritis Day was established by Arthritis and Rheumatism International (ARI) and the first event was observed on 12 October 1996. Since then many global communities like Arthritis Foundation has joined the cause.
SYMPTOMS OF ARTHRITIS
The most common symptoms of arthritis involve the joints. Depending on the type of arthritis, signs and symptoms may include: Pain, Stiffness, Swelling, Redness, Decreased range of motion.
TREATMENTS FOR ARTHRITIS
Arthritis treatment focuses on relieving symptoms and improving joint function, theme may include- medication, physiotherapy and joint replacement, joint repair or joint fusion surgery.
