Having a blood relative with asthma, having another allergic condition, being overweight, being a smoker, exposure to secondhand smoke, exposure to exhaust fumes or pollution, exposure to occupational triggers such as chemicals.
Work with your doctor to identify your asthma trigger, make your Asthma Action Plan, reduce your exposures to your asthma triggers, take daily medicines as on your Asthma Action Plan, know your asthma warning signs.
