WHAT IS WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY?
Every year on October 10th, people throughout the world observe World Mental Health Day to increase awareness of mental health concerns and encourage mental wellness. HISTORY OF WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY
At the World Federation for Mental Health's suggestion, World Mental Health Day was first marked on October 10th, 1992. Since that time, it has developed into an annual event with a different topic relating to mental health.
