Narayan Medical College Bihar MBBS student dies under mysterious circumstances after getting admitted to hospital, probe underway

Rohtas: In a tragic incident, a third year MBBS student at Narayan Medical College Hospital in Jamuhar died under mysterious circumstances after being admitted to the hospital by the college administration.
ETV Bharat reported that the college administration informed his family that the student's health had suddenly deteriorated and he was being treated. However, by the time his family arrived at the college, he had already died.
Following his death, his family members are questioning the reason behind his death. They alleged that he had no illness and they are unaware of what happened to their son.

The deceased student is a 26 year old, a resident of Mahesua village under the Udakishunganj police station area in Madhepura district of Bihar. He had been studying medicine at Narayan Medical College for the past three years.
According to reports, the student was admitted to the hospital after his health suddenly deteriorated. After his death, police were informed and conducted a preliminary investigation upon reaching the spot.
The police took possession of the body and sent it to Sasaram for postmortem examination. Considering the seriousness of the case, a special medical board of doctors was formed to conduct the autopsy and ascertain the exact cause of death.
Dr. Vineet Anand, the doctor conducting the postmortem, stated "The medical board is conducting the autopsy. The actual cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem report is released."
Speaking to ETV Bharat, the father of the deceased student said, "My son had no illness of any kind. I have no idea why his health suddenly deteriorated or what led to his death. When the college administration informed us over the phone, we rushed to the scene, but by then my son had already died."
Atulesh Jha, ASP, Dehri Rohtas said, "We have received reports of the death of a medical student at Narayan Medical College. An investigation is underway. A written application from the family has not been received. Further action will be taken as soon as the application is received. A medical board of doctors has been formed for the post-mortem. Only after the post-mortem report is received can anything be said definitively."
