In an implied statement by the Haryana health minister Anil Vij , the Miri Piri medical college in Kurukshetra district that has been embroidered in issues for long, will soon be operational.
The construction work at the college is likely to start soon, and then the admissions for the students will start. However, the construction work is still expected to be resolved soon at the administrative level.
As reported by TOI, the minister gave an assurance about the construction restarting to Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Avtar Singh Makkar after meeting him in Amritsar. Vij said the issues concerning the construction of the college building would soon be resolved at administrative level and thereafter, the construction could be completed and admissions could also be started.
Makkar assured Vij that construction of the college building would be completed so as to benefit students. Makkar was all praise for the initiative of the Haryana government saying that it was for the first time that a minister had taken steps to resolve the pending issue.
