High standard medical facilities to be provided to all families: Haryana Guv

Chandigarh: Haryana Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya said that for achieving the vision of Health for All, high standard medical facilities would be provided to all families whose annual income is less than Rs 1.8 lakh and whose agricultural land is less than five acres.
Mr Arya was delivering his address on the second day of the 14th Haryana Vidhan Sabha session here on Tuesday. He said similar facilities would be offered to the families with higher income on payment basis.

The Governor said that the present state government is committed to increase the health expenditure as per National Health Policy, 2017 and also to operationalize another 2,000 Health and Wellness Centres in the coming years. The number of Jan Aushadhi Kendra and diagnostic laboratories would also be increased, he added.
