Bhadarwah (Doda): Three government employees, including a doctor, were suspended by Sub Divisional Magistrate for remaining absent during duty hours in Malanoo area of Jammu and Kashmirs Doda district.
Akhter Hussain, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thathri, conducted a surprise inspection of Primary Health Centre (PHC), Malanoo and ordered the suspension of three employees for remaining absent during duty hours in Malanoo area," a district spokesman said.
During the inspection, SDM Thathri, Akhter Hussain Qazi found Dr Shakeel Ahmed, a dental surgeon, Annie Kumar, a dental assistant and Shanaz Tabassum, a senior assistant absent following which all of them were placed under suspension till pending enquiry.
While an enquiry has been initiated and explanations have been sought from the erring officials, others have been told to remain punctual, he said.
"We have been instructed by the government to not only ensure full attendance but to also improve the quality of service to public by different departments and strict action will be taken for under performance," the SDM said.
