Max Healthcare, Muthoot Hospitals tie-up for 300-bed hospital in Delhi

Mumbai: Leading hospital chain operator Max Healthcare Institute on Thursday said it has entered into an agreement with Muthoot Hospitals for management of a new over 300 beds hospital coming up in New Delhi.
Both the companies have entered into a long-term service agreement to operate and maintain the 10-storey hospital having a capacity of 300 beds, which is currently under construction, the company said in a statement.

Spread across 8.62 acres, the hospital, which will be named a 'Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka', has a potential to add another over 1,000 beds in due course of time, it said. The current arrangement is restricted to Phase 1 of the hospital.
The hospital is expected to commence operations in the second half of 2023.
Max Healthcare Chairman and Managing Director Dr Abhay Soi said: "The arrangement underscores the focus and success of our strategic asset light model of growth and to start with, it will add 8 per cent to our overall capacity in near future. The new hospital will allow us to further strengthen our presence in Delhi NCR."
