Chandigarh: Protesting against the heinous act of alleged sexual assault of an anesthetist by an OT technician in the hospital premises, resident doctors of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh went on strike demanding prompt action against the accused.
The United Resident Doctors' Association, GMCH Chandigarh demanded immediate arrest of the absconding OT technician.
The doctors, standing in solidarity with their fellow anesthesia resident who was sexually assaulted in the hospital premises by the OT technician, alleged that the response from police has been delayed in the matter and the accused has still not been arrested.
