KNOW ANEURYSM THAT LED TO JO LINDNER AKA JOESTHETICS'S DEATH

Jo Lindner, also known as Joesthetics, a German influencer, passed away last week from an aneurysm. The 30-year-old used to provide fitness advice with her big 8.5 million Instagram followers and over 940k YouTube subscribers. Three days before his passing, the bodybuilder had complained of neck pain, but it was already too late, according to a post by his girlfriend Nicha.
WHAT IS AN ANEURYSM?
An abnormal bulging or protrusion in the wall of a blood vessel, such as an artery, is known as an aneurysm. It happens when a section of the artery wall becomes weak, allowing it to expand or broaden.
CAUSES OF ANEURYSM
Although the exact cause of aneurysm is unknown, scientists argue that it can be inherited and that some people are born with it. The American Heart Association states that a family history of aneurysms may raise the risk. The risk can also be increased by other variables like tobacco use, high blood pressure, and excessive cholesterol.
TYPES OF ANEURYSMS
It can be diagnosed via an ultrasound, CT scan, or an angiography. Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), cerebral aneurysms, common iliac artery aneurysms, and femoral and popliteal artery aneurysms are among the several forms of aneurysms.
SYMPTOMS OF ANEURYSMS
Aneurysms may not show symptoms, significantly if the illness worsens. The aneurysm's location may have an impact on the symptoms. According to the location of the aneurysms, these are the symptoms: Headache, back or stomach pain blue coloring (cyanosis) of the lower extremities, pulsating abdominal mass Dizziness, Vision shifts, Confusion, exhaustion, hoarseness, swallowing challenges, breathing noise that is loud, increasing neck swelling, upper back or chest ache, nauseous and dizzy, a feeling of impending disaster shock, characterized by low blood pressure, a fast heartbeat, clammy skin, and diminished awareness.
PREVENTIVE MEASURES
Consult your doctor if you have an aneurysm to keep an eye on any potential swelling. If you recognized an aneurysm's symptoms, it could develop into a medical emergency. When signs are noticed, routine ultrasonography procedures should be performed. Preventive steps can include giving up smoking, managing your diabetes if you have it, lowering weight if you're obese, and reducing your intake of fat-containing foods. Once an aneurysm is diagnosed, the patient may frequently undergo surgery, including endovascular and open aneurysm repair (EVAR).
