Mumbai: In a raid on clinics being illegally run by 'fake doctors' in Shivaji Nagar area, a joint team of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and police has arrested five quacks on Wednesday for treating patients without any medical degrees or certificates or registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) or any other authority.
The team received a tip-off regarding quacks and illegal clinics in the Shivaji Nagar area after which they raided the five clinics in the areas and arrested five quacks who were working as senior doctors.
