Dr Pawanindra Lal, MS, DNB, FIMSA, FCLS, FRCSE, FRCS, FACS, FAMS is Director Professor and Head, Department of Surgery, Maulana Azad Medical College (University of Delhi), Executive Director and CEO of National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, and Vice President of International College of Laparoscopic Surgeons. He is also Consultant Laparoscopic Gastro-intestinal, Oncology & Bariatric Surgeon, Chairman of Division of Minimal Access Surgery, and President of India Hernia Society. Earlier he was the President of Association of Surgeons of India. His Publications include “Congenital Y-type Urethro-perineal fistula” published in European Journal of Pediatric Surgery 1997 and “Obstructive Uropathy” published in Management of Common Pediatric Problems. He received Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Award for distinguished services to the Nation in 2021, Delhi State Health Award in 2019, Delhi State Health Award in 2019, and College Overseas Award in 2009.
