Dr. Navin Dang MBBS, MD (Medical Microbiology) is the Founder & Director Dr Dangs Lab, New Delhi. Earlier he was the Senior resident of All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Honored with the prestigious Dr. B.C. Roy National Award by the President of India in the year 2009. He was the recepient of Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin Award (GAPIO) 2021 for Excellence in Diagnostics, Honoured with “Vishisht Chikitsa Ratan Award” on the occasion of Doctor’s Day 1st July 2014 for outstanding contribution in the field of Medicine and Service of mankind, Government of India’s former nominated member to the Medical Council of India and Member – Ethics committee Medical Council of India, Delhi Government’s former nominated member to the Delhi Medical Council and Member, Executive Committee, Delhi Medical Council, and Governing Council Member of Initiative for Providing Affordable & Quality Tests for Tuberculosis (IPAQT). Dr Dang’s lab is First Diagnostic Lab in India to get ISO 9000 Certification in 1995, One of the first labs in India to get NABL (National Accreditation Board for testing and Calibration Laboratories) Certification in all departments of the lab, the first private lab in the country to start Bacteriphage testing to combat Anti-microbial resistance, one of the first labs in the country to be awarded NABL 15189 Certificate for quality systems and competence. Dr Dangs Lab featured in Limca Book of Records for being the first lab in the country to post patient’s reports using web-based technology, awarded FICCI Health Care Excellence Award 2010 (Excellence in Patient Experience), it is one of the four labs recognized by Government of India to do HINI testing during the Swine Flu epidemic of 2009-2011.
