3,500 patients get free treatment at free medical camp in Badal village

Badal, Muktsar: More than 3,500 patients on Saturday availed free medical check-up and treatment facilities by top doctors from Bathinda, Amritsar and Chandigarh at a medical camp organised here.
The medical camp, which was organised at the civil hospital here, witnessed a number of senior doctors treating patients on the spot besides facilitating advanced treatment for various ailments. These included former PGIMER, Chandigarh Director Dr K K Talwar, former PGI chest specialist Dr S K Jindal, Urologist Dr Baldev Aulakh, dentist Dr R S Mann and noted eye specialist Dr SPS Gewal. Doctors from Max hospital Bathinda and Shri Guru Ramdas hospital Amritsar also treated patients at the camp which will continue tomorrow also.

Former CM Parkash Singh Badal thanked the eminent doctors for taking out time to treat rural patients free of cost. He said the camp was a boon for poor patients who could not otherwise avail the services of such top specialists.
Besides arranging absolutely free treatment for all patients, those coming to the camp were also given free meals on the occasion.
