AIIMS to host first Indo-French medical innovation conclave

AIIMS in collaboration with France-based FAM-Medical Academy Foundation and the French embassy in India will hold its first Public Health and Medical Innovation conclave here from November 19.

The two-day conclave will focus excellence and progress of Indo-French medical cooperation, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease, developments in cancer and skin pigmentation treatment, and innovation in teaching and research.

"In their respective areas of expertise, the three contracting parties will facilitate cooperation between specialists in fields of medical science, in accordance with the applicable laws, rules and regulations of the two countries and in limits of the financial resources of each contracting party," AIIMS spokesperson Amit Gupta told IANS.

"Joint seminars and workshops in either country will also be held, which will help organising seminars, conferences, workshops, on domains of mutual interest, in which sharing information may increase the opportunities of cooperation between all the stakeholders," added Gupta.
