ALL DNB Hospitals have to assign SPOC for communications, says NBE

New Delhi: Hospitals offering DNB/FNB course under the banner of National Board of Examinations have to designate a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) with whom the NBE will communicate, a recent notice has stated. NBE iterated that it will be communicating to this SPOC on matters related to accreditation
" In order to strengthen the communication between NBE and accredited hospitals, it is mandatory for NBE accredited hospitals /applicant hospitals seeking accreditation to designate a responsible and senior functionary of the hospital as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) who shall be the nodal person to communicate with NBE for issues pertaining to accreditation," NBE clarified
The NBE further informed how the details of this SPOC have to be communicated to the organsation.
" The hospital shall have to enter the details of the SPOC (Name, e-mail, phone no.) through the online accreditation portal available at website www.natboard.edu.in The concerned SPOC can write to NBE at e-mail accr@natboard.edu.in for any issue /clarification pertaining to accreditation. Only accreditation related queries shall be entertained at this e-mail. Queries related to registration of candidates and counselling related matters are to be sent at reg@natboard.edu.in and counseling@natboard.edu.in respectively, " the notice stated
E-mails to accreditation department from non-registered e-mail ID shall not be considered. NBE shall also be communicating to SPOC regarding matters pertaining to accreditation.
The SPOC should carefully go through the Information Bulletin for accreditation with NBE at following link:
Information Bulletin 2019-NBE Accreditation for DNB & FNB Programme It shall be the endeavour of NBE to answer all the queries of the hospitals in a time bound manner for matters which are not covered in the above stated Information Bulletin.
