Apollo Centre for Advanced Pediatrics hosts KVO Update 2016

New Delhi : Continuing with its tradition of clinical excellence, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, India’s First Internationally Accredited Hospital offering state-of-the art tertiary care in various pediatric specialties, commenced the KVO Update 2016 Hot topics in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Liver Transplantation. This 2 day conference willbe followed by Hands on Endoscopy Workshops Basic and Advanced on 22nd and 23rd August 2016.


Starting with the first successful pediatric liver transplant in India in 1998, Apollo Hospitals has been a pioneer in the field of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. Apollo hospitals have performed 2514 liver transplants of which 209 have been in children, the most in not just India but the region. This conference will see global experts address important issues in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and liver transplantation. Important topics which will be covered by eminent international and national faculty include hepatitis B, hepatitis C, cholestasis, acute liver failure, liver transplantation, advanced endoscopy, celiac disease, pancreatitis, food allergy and inflammatory bowel disease. This conference is endorsed by the Asian Pan-Pacific Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (APPSPGHAN) and Indian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ISPGHAN) and accredited by National Board of Examination (NBE).This conference is a joint initiative with the ‘Academy of Pediatric Gastroenterology", London, UK.


Faculty and delegates from 18 countries will be present.
