Delhi: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and AYUSH ministry have directed Patanjali to stop advertising and publicising its claims of its medicine 'Coronil' which it claims to be a cure for coronavirus until an approval is given by the authorities.
Recently, Patanjali claimed that Coronil is effective in curing coronavirus victims; however, the ministry of Ayush on Tuesday issued a statement saying that they have taken cognizance of the news recently flashed in the media about ayurvedic medicines developed for the treatment of COVID-19 by Patanjali, Haridwar and also added that Patanjali has failed to give any details on their scientific studies regarding the medication to the authorities.
