World praising Ayush Ministry's efforts in boosting immunity during Covid-19 period: Minister Kiren Rijiju

New Delhi: Sports and Ayush Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday told the Rajya Sabha said that entire world has praised the Ayush Ministry's efforts in boosting immunity of the people during COVID-19 period.

Responding to a query during 'Question Hour' he said, "In our country, Ayurved treatment is not new, surgery is a part of it, has been going on since centuries. The process of surgery to be done by Ayurvedic doctors has been clearly defined in a notification".

Mr Rijiju also said that the traditional medicine system under Ayurveda has well defined, the surgery process has been well proven, will work in tandem with the Health Ministry.
