New Delhi: PHD Chamber organized a technical session on Incentive and Schemes offered by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India for ASU Sector on 24th February 2022 during AYUSH e-Mela.

The eminent speakers present were Shri Vikram Singh, Director, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, Mr.Jitender Sodhi, Co-Chair, AYUSH Committee, PHD Chamber and CMD, AYUSH Herbs Private Limited, Dr. Santosh Joshi, Co-Chair, AYUSH Committee & Sr. General Manager, (R&D) Hamdard Laboratories India, Dr. Anup Kalra, Director, QCS Herbals Private Limited, Dr. Ravi Rathod, Joint Secretary, PHDCCI and Mr. Amit Patwal, Assistant Secretary, PHDCCI.

Mr.Jitender Sodhi, Co-Chair, AYUSH Committee, PHD Chamber and CMD, AYUSH Herbs Private Limited gave welcome remarks and thanked Shri Vikram Singh or sparing his valuable time and sharing and incentive schemes, which will definitely be useful for the Industry.

Shri Vikram Singh shared a brief presentation and insight about various schemes offered by the Ministry and also shared their objectives. He further highlighted few significant schemes on Ayurgyan Scheme and brief about the Champion Services Sector Scheme which is another scheme offered by the Ministry. Mr. Singh also shared various schemes in collaboration with other Ministry & departments. He highlighted that Ministry of AYUSH is also working closely with BIS to develop service standards for medical value travel and also collaborated with Ministry of Tourism and created a National Medical wellness and Tourism Board.



Dr. Anup Kalra also shared a brief presentation and talk about strengths and rich tradition and use of quality herbs for improving health and immunity of any individual. He also mentioned about today's global requirement and major requirements of the AYUSH Industry. He also showcased a way forward to work together and value chain development strategies required in medicinal plants cultivation.

Dr. Santosh Joshi proposed a formal vote of thanks to all the dignitaries present for sparing their valuable time and knowledge with the industry. He also thanked Shri Vikram Singh for sharing insight about Incentives and Schemes offered by the Ministry for the ASU Sector.

The AYUSH E-Mela technical session was well attended by more than 250 delegates from Industry and academia and exhibitors participating in the expo.
