Dr Subhash Kaushik Appointed As New Director-General CCRH

New Delhi: Dr Subhash Kaushik has been appointed as new Director-General, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), Ministry of AYUSH.

Confirmation to this was effect was recently made by the AYUSH ministry in a notice. As per the notice dated 15th February, 2022, Dr Kaushik has been handed over the charge of the CCRH. With this appointment Dr. Anil Khurana, Chairman of the National Commission of Homeopathy, was relieved from the additional charges of the CCRH.

Dr. Kaushik was earlier serving as Research Officer (H)/(Scientist-IV), DDPRCRI (H), Noida (under CCRH).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Dr. Kaushik to the post on a deputation basis for 5 years with effect from the date he took off charge of the post, or till he attains the age of superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest. His appointment is in level 14 of the pay matrix with a pay scale of Rs.1, 44,200-2, 18,200 plus NPA as admissible under the rules.
The Ministry of AYUSH has further notified that Dr. Kaushik's appointment will be governed by the terms and conditions mentioned in the memorandum of association and rules, regulations & bye-laws of CCRH as amended from time to time.

Central Council of Homoeopathy, now called the National Commission for Homoeopathy is the apex regulator for the practice of Homeopathy in the country which prescribes course curriculum and maintains central registers of homeopaths. It is a statutory body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India and was set up by the Government of India in 1973. In 2021, it was replaced with the National Commission for Homoeopathy
