Bill Passed: Ayurveda, Unani doctors can practice modern medicine in MP

Madhya Pradesh: Ayurveda, Unani doctors will now be allowed to practice modern medicine, as the Madhya Pradesh government has passed a two bills to enable these practitioners to prescribe allopathy medicines.
Two bills were passed in the state Vidhan Sabha namely Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan parishad (sanshodhan) vidhayak 2016 and MP Ayurvdic ,Unani tatha prakritik chikitsa vyavsai (sanshodhan) vudhayak 2016 on Friday. The bill was passed amidst opposition from other parties.
