Chhattisgarh to get a new medical college

NTPC, SECL to set up a Medical College Hospital in Chhattisgarh:  Piyush Goyal



 Raipur (UNI): National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) will set up a medical college and hospital in Chhattisgarh, Union Minister of State for Power, Coal and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal announced here today.




Addressing a press conference here after reviewing the functioning of energy, mining and industries departments in Chhattisgarh with Chief Minister Raman Singh, his ministers and other senior officials, Mr Goyal said NTPC and SECL would provide Rs 100 crores each for the medical college and hospital project which would have special wing for cancer patients.
