Chhapra: Unidentified criminals killed a doctor by slitting open his throat under Mufassil police station area in Saran district today.
Police said here that outlaws killed Dr Anil Prasad (45) by attacking him at his rented house near Sarha bus stand. Sources said the deceased was a native of Amnaur police station area in the district.
Police said, the reason behind murder was not immediately known. The body has been sent to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for autopsy, sources added.
