When the complainant asked the hospital authorities about the sudden development, they were reportedly threatened. The complainant said that all of a sudden, the authorities told her to take her sister to the Government Rajaji Hospital as they could not afford treatment at the private hospital. After the siblings insisted that they could not shift the patient to the GRH without the authorities revealing the reason, they were given a certificate in the evening stating that the patient had died, adds the daily.

However, the FIR has not named any accused on the complaint of death of a woman due to alleged medical negligence.
