Mumbai: In the wake of demonetization of INR 500 and Rs 1000 notes and several cases where private hospitals are not accepting currency from patients being reported, the state government has come up with a patient support helpline, where public can complain against any hospital not denying admissions to patients
In the first 17 hours since the helpline was launched, which is fully equipped with professional counselors, 22 complaints against different hospitals were received.
