Dental Council of India Invites Faculty Applications for Inspector Appointments

New Delhi: The Dental Council of India (DCI) has invited applications for the appointment of inspectors. A general notice has been issued to all qualified and experienced dental faculty members to apply.

In accordance with Section 2 of the DCI (Misc) Regulations, 2007, the Dental Council of India invites applications from qualified and experienced dental faculty members who wish to be considered for appointment as Inspectors for the Council.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The candidate shall be Reader with at least 3 years of experience or above.

2. Shall be an active teacher in a recognized dental institution subject to verification by OFSAMS

The candidates who are Principals, Professors OR faculty having MDS qualification with minimum 20 years of teaching experience in a recognized dental college, shall be given preference.

Interested candidates are requested to submit their applications online, within seven days, from the date of this circular, in the Google Form.

Please ensure that the details of such faculty shall be up-to-date on the college portal of DCI Website and that the form is submitted within the stipulated time frame.
Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.

The Dental Council of India has been constituted by an Act of Parliament to regulate the profession of dentistry and also to maintain the highest standards of dental education in the country. It is the statutory and bounden duty of the DCI to take such steps as are required to be taken to maintain the highest standards of dental education in the country.

Any dental qualification granted by any person/authority/institution is not valid unless and until it is according to the norms of the DCI Act and Regulations made thereunder, the respective provisions of Sections 10, 10A, and 10B of the Dentists Act, 1948.
