District Hospital lacks basic medical equipments

Ambassa (Tripura): The district hospital has turned into a den of public suffering as the hospital seriously lacks equipment and medicines like bandages, salines, needles adding to the furry of the distressed people in the subdivision of Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here.


The district hospital has already been in serious lack of doctors. Now, the hospital has been in serious lack of casual equipment like bandages, salines, adhesive tapes and others.


A relative of a patient identified as Mohanram Riang has alleged, "Our fate has remained unchanged. From the 'golden era' of CPI(M) we have reached the age of 'HIRA' of BJP. But our pathos, needs and suffering have remained the same".


However, the hospital authority has assured that, the shortage is quite temporary and everything will be normal within days.
