Doctor, Hospital Owner booked for Rs 45 lakh fraud from pharmacy

Pune: A doctor along with an owner of a supers pecialty hospital have been booked for cheating and criminal breach of trust for allegedly flying away with Rs 45 lakh which they asked as caution money from a pharmacy.
According to media reports, a hospital named Jeednyas Hospital was located on Telco Road, Pimpri-Chinchwad. The hospital advertised itself to have 45-bed facility with 10 beds reserved for ICU and NICU along with other surgery departments including ENT, neuro, paediatric, cosmetic and oncology specialization. The hospital was showed to have full fledged laboratories and ambulance facility.
After one year of functioning the hospital suddenly closed down without paying the salary of staffs in the hospital.
The case was filed by a 35 year old pharmacist Santosh Vare who alleged that the owner Raya Anandrao Bhosale and Dr Pramod Borghare were in partnership in setting up of the hospital. They attracted the pharmacist through their business plan where the promised revenue turnover of Rs Rs 50,000 per month. The pharmacist started having a doubt on them when the employees started complaining of being not paid on time.
