Dr Sanjay Kulkarni , Dr Jyotsna Kulkarni to be awarded with Committed Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar

Pune: Noted nureosurgeon Dr Sanjay Kulkarnii and his wife and Laproscopy Surgeon Dr Jyotsna Kulkarni would be conferred with the 'Special Committed Jeevan Gaurav' Award on May 1, at the Saint Dnyaneshwar Hall, MIT Campus, Pune.
The awards have been constituted by MIT World Peace University in association with Talegaon Dabhade based MIMER Medical College.
Prof Dr Vishwanath Karad, Founder President of MIT WPU while talking to reporters here today said that MIT as a group takes pride in awarding the Kulkarni couple for their outstanding and path breaking work they are doing in the medical field.
The award would be presented at the hands of Padmabhushan Dr K H Sancheti in the presence of Padmabhushan Dr VIjay Bhatkar, Chancellor of Nalanda University.
Dr Suchitra Karad - Nagre, Executive Director MIMER said that the Kulkarnis have done pathbreaking work in the field of medicine.
Their teachings are a great encouragement to the fraternity. We at MIT and MIMER are greatly impressed with it and thus the award is a humble gesture from our part to celebrate the duo.
The award would comprise a shawl, shreephal, certificate and a mememto.
Both Dr Sanjay and his wife Dr Jyotsna are the alumni of Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow, England and have been practicing for over 35 years. In 2016 Dr Sanjay was conferred with the B C Roy Award which is the most revered one in the field of medicine.
