Allergic rhinitis (AR), an inflammatory illness of the upper respiratory tract, is now being acknowledged as a global health burden with estimates highlighting that 10%-25% of the population worldwide is affected by the disease.

The following infographic explains the treatment algorithm for AR as per the ARIA guideline (Allergic Rhinitis and Its Impact on Asthma) and how the guideline recommends the treatment based on VAS ( Visual Analog Scale) algorithm.
