Fact Check

The claim is FALSE. As of the latest official update from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) dated 17th March 2025, the NEET PG 2025 will be held on 15th June 2025, and the NBEMS has announced no rescheduling.

Has the NEET PG 2025 exam been postponed to 17th August 2025?

The claim that the NEET PG 2025 exam has been postponed to 17th August 2025 is FALSE. The circulated notice mentioning this date has been officially dismissed as incorrect and should not be considered genuine.

A fabricated notice dated 01/04/2025 has been shared on various platforms suggesting that the NEET PG 2025 exam has been postponed to 17th August 2025. This notice falsely attributes the rescheduling to the NBEMS.

However, the authentic and latest official notification from NBEMS was released on 17th March 2025, which clearly states: "National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) shall conduct the NEET-PG 2025 on 15th June 2025 on a Computer Based Platform in Two Shifts."

Several users in the comments section of the post on X are calling out the content as FAKE. For instance, @medicos_09 labeled it 'fake'.

The official communication regarding the conduction of the NEET PG exam is available on the NBEMS website and supersedes any unverified claims or manipulated notices appearing online.

Medical Dialogues Final Take

The claim that NEET PG 2025 has been postponed to 17th August 2025 is completely false. The official NBEMS notice dated 17th March 2025 confirms that the exam will be held on 15th June 2025 in two shifts on a Computer Based Platform. Moreover, no official announcement regarding the postponement of the NEET PG exam has been made on the NBEMS website. Students are advised to disregard unofficial sources and follow the official NBEMS website for accurate updates.

Hence, the user's claim is FALSE.
