New Delhi: A five to six month old foetus was found in the washroom of a government hospital in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar area, police said.

An attendant found the foetus in the washroom last night and alerted hospital authorities, who in turn informed the police.

A case has been registered and efforts are on to identify the person who left the foetus near the toilet seat, police said.

CCTV footage is being analysed and hospital staff is being questioned in the matter, they said.
