Three new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will be set up after the union cabinet gave its consent for the move, involving financial implications of Rs 4.949 crore.
With the prime objective to offer premier healthcare services in as many states as possible, this time the premise for new AIIMS centre will be Nagpur in Maharashtra, Manglagiri in Andhra Pradesh and Kalyani in West Bengal.
