Government to set up Cancer Research Institute in Ayurveda: AYUSH Minister

The Ministry of AYUSH has decided to set up a Cancer Research Institute in Ayurveda in Bhandup (East), Mumbai in coordination with Tata Cancer Hospital. Ministry of Urban Development (i,e the parent Ministry of CPWD) has agreed to transfer a plot of land measuring 2.8 acres at Bhandup (E), Mumbai in favor of Ministry of AYUSH for construction of building of Central Ayurveda Research Institute for Cancer.


This information was given by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha.
