Thane:  A doctor working at the Primary Health Centre at Navghar in Vasai was today booked by the Thane Unit of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in a disproportionate assets case.

An open inquiry by the ACB revealed that Dr Anilkumar Yadav during his services with the health department from 2004 to March 2017 had acquired assets to the tune of Rs 81.21 lakh which were over and above his known sources of income, said an official release.

A case has been filed against Yadav under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 at the Manickpur police station in Vasai division of Palghar.

No arrest has been made so far in connection with the case, said ACB officials.
