Gujarat: Cancer & Resarch Insititute Releases 47 vacancies for Senior Resident, Faculty Posts, Detail

Ahmedabad- The Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute (GCRI) Ahmedabad has released 47 vacancies for the various Faculty and  Senior Resident (SR) posts on Contractual Basis. The eligible candidates are directed to download an application form the official website during office hours.

The downloaded application forms could  be submitted at the office by the post/ courier/ in-person to The Director, The Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Civil Hospital Campus, Asarwa, Ahmedabad – 380016 along with original and Photocopies of all educational qualifications, experience certificates & attempt certificates duly self- attested along with one recent color passport size photograph.

Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute (GCRI) established in the year 1972, is a functional autonomous body jointly managed by Government of Gujarat and Gujarat Cancer Society, affliated to B J Medical College. It is also a Regional Cancer Centre of Government of India and getting assistance under National Cancer Control Programme

ELIGIBILITY FOR FACULTY POSTS

Professor:

Experience: The selection list will remain valid for a period of one year or till another advertisement is published, whichever is earlier. The candidates with less teaching experience on the day of interview will not be considered.

Age: Up to 45 years

Pay and allowances: PB-4 37400-67000 G.P. 10000

Associate Professor:

Age: Up to 40 years

Pay and allowances: PB-4 37400-67000 G.P. 9000

Assistant Professor:

Age: Up to 43 years

Pay and allowances: PB-3 15600-39100 G.P. 7000

Basic Knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification & Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SENIOR RESIDENT POST

A postgraduate medical degree, MD/ MS/ DNB in the concerned discipline from a recognized University/Institute/or equivalent qualification. 

Age: Up to 40 years, can be relaxed for deserving case
