HC asks UP govt to provide adequate medical facility in its premises
Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court has asked the Uttar Pradesh government to provide adequate medical facilities in the high court premises.
A bench of justices Biswanath Somadder and Neeraj Tiwari issued the direction to the government on Wednesday on a public interest lawsuit filed by advocate Mamta Singh.
In its order to the government, the bench said the medical facility to be provided in the high court premises will include a fully stocked medical dispensary with essential life saving drugs and oxygen, besides basic diagnostic tools.

The facilities will also include adequate number of wheelchairs and stretchers, besides at least one ambulance equipped with intensive care facility.
