Health Ministry Permission granted to 247 MD, MS seats at 33 medical colleges

Through a public notice, the Ministry of Health and family welfare has announced, that letter of permission (LOP) will be given to 33 medical colleges across the country to start and increase 247 seats in 21 PG courses.

This permission for starting/increase of seats in the said courses and admission of students will be till such time the first batch of students admitted against the above course(s) appears for the first final examination in the subject. The College authorities may take up the matter for recognition of the qualifications under Section l7 (2) of IMC Act at the time of first batch admitted against the course appears for final year examinations.
