NMC launches online feedback form for MBBS students to assess medical education quality

New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has introduced an online Student Feedback Form to collect inputs from MBBS students across all medical college.

The initiative aims to gather anonymous and confidential feedback on various aspects of your medical College and medical education experience by the students in their respective institutes.

The aspects as listed by the apex medical commission include Quality of Teaching, Faculty Availability, Clinical Training, Labs, Dissection Halls ad Practical Training, Community Medicine and Rural Training, Ragging & Student Safety and Campus Culture as well as Student Welfare, Anti-Ragging Measures & Grievance Redressal, Mental Health Support, Extracurricular Activities, Curriculum, College Administration & Governance, etc.

Issuing a notice in this regard, Dr Raghav Langer, Secretary at NMC, mentioned in the notice, "National Medical Commission has made live Online "Student Feedback Form", seeking feedback/inputs from Under Graduate Medical Students of Medical Colleges/Institutions under the purview of NMC. This feedback aims to gather your valuable anonymous feedback on various aspects of your medical College and medical education experience. The form covers aspects such as Quality of Teaching & Lectures, Faculty Availability & Adequacy, Clinical Training & Patient Exposure, Labs, Dissection Halls & Practical Training, Community Medicine & Rural Training, Ragging & Student Safety and Campus Culture/ Student Welfare, Anti-Ragging Measures & Grievance Redressal, Mental Health Support, Extracurricular Activities, Curriculum, College Administration & Governance etc."

The responses given by the students will help in the academic assessment and quality improvement across institutes and will be confidential.

"Your response will be anonymous and confidential. The feedback is being collected solely for internal academic review and quality improvement purposes," the NMC notice read.

The Online Form can be accessed via NMC website home page.

The students have been asked to wholeheartedly participate in filling the Online "Student Feedback Form" and submit valuable feedback.
