NMC PG Board Uploads Details of students Admitted Through NEET PG 2023
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the Postgraduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has informed that the details of the candidates who were admitted to postgraduate medical courses through the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2023 examination are being uploaded on the NMC website.
These details, which have been uploaded on the NMC website, include the name of the State, the name of the medical college, the name of the PG medical course in which the students were admitted etc. Further, the name of the students, their gender, date of birth, the category of seats in which they were admitted (State/All India quota), their sub-category, details of if they were physically handicapped, exam roll number, exam rank, name of the PG teacher under whom they were admitted, the amount of stipend provided to them, their registration number, the name of their Registered Council, and their date of admission.
Issuing a notice on 30.05.2024, the PGMEB of NMC informed about this and mentioned in the notice, "The details of the candidates admitted through NEET PG 2023 examination are being uploaded on the NMC website to facilitate the aspiring medical students seeking admission in PG Medical courses and State Medical Councils for registration of additional qualification."
As per the Apex Medical Commission's notice, the details of the students admitted to PG medical courses may be seen by following these steps:
NMC website -> Information Desk -> Circulars/Public Notice -> Consolidated details of PG students admitted
However, the PG Board of NMC clarified that these "details are strictly as per the information furnished by the respective Medical Colleges/ Institutes through the online portal on NMC."
Last year, the Apex Medical Commission also released the details of students admitted through NEET PG 2022, NEET PG 2020-21, NEET SS 2021-22, and NEET SS 2022-23.
